The info in here works great for lots of different types of groups. We are a family of 6 with 4 kids under age 7. We traveled in a group of 12, with a family that has teenagers too, so the recs in here work great for older kids and large groups as well.
This guide is a lot of info all in one place! It’s months worth of research combined with our experiences while there.
I tried to include my thoughts, all the options you have at places, and little things to help you prepare for each of the destinations.

In no way is this an extensive list of things to do and places to see in Costa Rica. There are so many beautiful places to see, and we are definitely not experts on travel here. But hopefully this itinerary gives you a little guideline for one possible trip you can do as a family there.
